Successful winter season with MRF tires
The past winter season was the first MRF-winter in Finland. The goals of the winter were to make the MRF tire known and at the same time test the tire's functionality on both icy and snowy rally roads. To our delight, we can say that in terms of both competition success and test results, the winter went quite well, even beyond expectations!Emil Lindholm and Mikael Korhonen of the GRX team were seen as MRF drivers in the Finnish Rally Championship. In the two Finnish Championship rallies of the winter season, the MRF tire showed its competitiveness compared to other rally tires. Lindholm drove at the top of the line, and let him record the first base time of MRF tires in Finland in the Arctic Lapland Rally.
"This winter we have tripled the number of rallies run on MRF Tires winter tires. We have reached the bottom time and, with special trials, steadily at the top positions. We have moved forward again in the development of the tire. Even before the start of the season, I had strong confidence that MRF would be able to produce a competitive tire for winter conditions as well", Emil Lindholm summed up the winter season.
